U.K Elite Soccer for 2010
Dear Parents and Players - We are pleased to announce the continued relationship with U.K Elite Soccer for 2010. The following programs are available:
SPRING PROGRAMS * U.K. Petite Soccer - An introduction to soccer for 3-5 Yr olds. * Elite Feet Technical Program - to develop every player’s technical skills, ages 7-14Yr olds. * Details on website below.
SUMMER CAMPS Discover how the Unique UK Elite Training Methodology can put elite in your feet this summer. We guarantee every player will have a fantastic soccer experience. Qualified Professional UK Elite Coaches will instruct every summer program. * June and August camps are available (details on website below).

Cheltenham Sports Enters Into Youth Partnership with Philadelphia Union MLS
Dear Cheltenham Soccer Enthusiasts, As you may already know, your club has entered into a youth partnership with our Major League Soccer club, Philadelphia Union. With this partnership, we will be providing your kids with recognition at our home games, recognition on our website for all to see, recognition in our game day programs as well as up on the jumbotron, club jersey display inside our brand new state of the art stadium in Chester, PA, coaching clinics and chalk talks, and much, much more.

Cheltenham Sports Families -
We will be selling and closing out merchandise sales (t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts and other great items) in order to make room for a new launch of merchandise coming soon. We will be at the Cedarbrook Middle School on Saturday, February 21 from 10:30 - 1:30 in order to close out the current inventory. The items we have will be selling at discounted prices, so please come out and help support the Club.
The Katz JCC is sending a girl's lacrosse team to the 2010 JCC Maccabi Games this summer for the first time! The Games will take place August 8-13 in Baltimore, MD.
The JCC Maccabi Games is a multi-faceted event for Jewish teens providing them the opportunity to explore and enrich their Jewish identity and cultivate and deeper understanding and appreciation for Jewish values through participation of educational, cultural and social programs in addition to recreational and athletic activities.
An online late registration session has been opened for Cheltenham Sports Basketball (www.cheltenhamsports.org) for the 2009-10 season. Pre-season activities have already begun and will continue through November 23rd. The regular season begins on November 30th.
Co-ed grade-level divisions are available for Kindegarten (must be 6 years old by Feb. 1, 2010) through grade 7. Some divisions are already full, but waiting lists are being created, and new teams may be added (in grades 3-7) if there is demand. The absolute deadline for late registration is November 12, 2009.

Ignore the snow, Spring Roller Hockey will be starting later this month. Here are the important dates starting this weekend.
Saturday, March 6: 10 AM - 12 PM Clean up day. Please help us clean up the courts, pick up trash, and straighten the hockey trailer.
Saturday, March 6: 12 - 2 PM Hockey Evaluations Sunday, March 7: 12 - 2 PM Hockey Evaluations Please plan on having your players show up Saturday OR Sunday so we can run through hockey drills in order to balance the teams.
The top Court (#3) is cleared of most of the snow. So worst case, we can have evaluations on one court if necessary.
Sunday, March 21: Season begins.
If you know of anyone who has not signed up, please pass on the message to sign up online at www.cheltenhamsports.org or this weekend during evaluations. Coaches will be drafting teams the week of March 7th. And we could use a few more coaches, especially in the 16&U division. Please consider volunteering, the time commitment is minimal.
Another great season of roller hockey is here! Our final in-person registration will be on Saturday February 20 from 12 PM -2 PM at the Rowland Community Center, which is located at Elm and Myrtle Streets.
Our clean up day will be on Saturday March 6 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the hockey courts at Elkins Park Middle School. We need volunteers so please come by and give us a hand.
Player evaluations will be held on Saturday March 6 from 12 PM to 2 PM and on Sunday March 7 from 12 PM to 2 PM. Players will need to attend at least one of these two sessions.
Our season will start Sunday, March 21.

Games are played on our outdoor hockey courts at Elkins Park Middle School, Church and New 2nd Street
Game times Sundays, 1:00pm and 2:15pm Mid March thru Mid June Practice times vary and are determined by each team manager
