Cheltenham Sports Soccer Festival 2011 - Monday, September 5th (Labor Day) - 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Cheltenham Little League fields 650 Woodland Ave., Cheltenham, PA

This year in a partnership with the Philadelphia UNION, Danny Mwanga will be our guest of honor. Come to our community event to meet him in person and get an autograph!!!!

Cheltenham Sports Soccer Festival 2011 - Monday, September 5th (Labor Day) - 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The Soccer Festival is our opportunity to say THANK YOU to the Cheltenham community that has supported us for almost 80 years.
The Festival includes activities for children including soccer games and soccer shootout, summer refreshments - FREE hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon, ice cream, drinks. Also, free raffle tickets, Last minute registration, cleat exchange and much more...

Congratulations to the Cheltenham U-9 girls!

Congratulations to the Cheltenham U-9 girls (U-10 to be) the "Meteors"! Last Sunday, they finished aterrific spring season in the Rock League - going undefeated in seven games - 5 wins, 0 losses and 2 ties. They are the only Cheltenham team this spring, out of 10 teams that played in the Rock league, to win their division. Also, we would like to point out that this team has not lost a game since November 13 - not lost in the past 11 consecutive games - INCREDIBLE!! We should be proud at their excellent play, composure, attitude and sportsmanship. Continue to encourage and support them and they will continue to grow with and love the beautiful game.

Technical Program (6-14 years)

This program will focus on the unique UK Elite Targeted Training System. The system allows players to understand WHY? WHERE? WHEN? to apply skills in a practical game setting as well as the fundamental HOW? Do you execute the skill itself. This helps the successful long term development of a complete soccer player. Hockey evaluations will be Saturday, March 12 from 1 - 3 and Sunday, March 13 from 1 - 3 at the hockey courts behind Elkins Park Middle School. All players must attend ONE of the evaluations. Hockey season is tenatively set to start on Sunday, March 20th.

Dear Cheltenham Sports Members and Friends,

Is everyone getting ready for the start of the season? Our friends at the Philadelphia Union are! The Union are less than 2 months away from the start of their season, and year two looks more promising than year one both on and off the field. Several player moves have strengthened the team from last year’s expansion season. They have expanded their season ticket cap from last year due to the large demand, and the only way you can get a ticket to their home opener is through either Full or Partial Season Ticket plans. If you missed out on all the action last year and don’t want to be left out again you’re in luck. There are still a limited number of Union Full Season Tickets available for the 2011 season. Prices start at $320 for all 18 games ($17.77 per game, it’s a great value). All you have to do is reach out to our club rep Jason Freedman at 610-497-6304 or email him and mention you are with "Cheltenham Sports". Be sure to mention our club name because we will get credit and qualify for a variety of prizes and experiences that we know our players will love.
