Roller Hockey

We provide recreational roller hockey for boys and girls ages 5 - 16 years old, in and around Cheltenham Township.  Our Spring season runs from Mid - March through Mid June. Games are played on Sundays between 1:00 and 3:30 PM. Coaches and volunteers also needed. 

Registration takes place in January. Look for registration information in school flyers, our website, Facebook page, and the league hotline. For more information, please send an email to: hockey@cheltenhamsports.org

Roller Hockey Calendar:

March 1 Late registration starts ($10 late fee)

March 10 @ 3:00 Evaluations

March 11 @ 2:00 Evaluations (All players must attend one evaluation)

March 15 Registration closes

March 18 Season begins 

May 6 Picture Day

June 10 Championship/Consolation Games (Season ends) 


Spring 2012 Roller Hockey Season Info 

  • Online registration is now open! Please register by March 1, 2012 to avoid late fees.
  • Registration Fee: $65.00 per player.(Checks made payable to Cheltenham Sports)
  • Boys and Girls ages 5 –16 years old
  • Age Divisions: 9 & under - 12 & under - 16 & under (age as of December 31, 2011)
  • Coaches and Managers needed – (no skating skills necessary)
  • Location: Games are played on our outdoor hockey courts at Elkins Park Middle School (Church Road and New 2nd Street)
  • Game times: Sundays, 1:00pm and 2:15pm. Mid March thru Mid June
  • Practice times vary and are determined by each team manager 


Roller Hockey Rinks location

Our rinks are located next to the EP field, behind Elkins Park Middle School, Tookany Creek Parkway and New Second Street.
