Cheer! - Winter 2025

Practice starts on September 29th - Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30p - 7:30p at Cedarbrook Middle School Gymnasium. 

Introduction to Wrestling - Winter 2025

Former Cheltenham wrestler Joe Bentz is running this second-year program for boys & girls in 1st-6th grades.  

We will begin December 4th on Thursday evenings at 6:00p - 7:15p at Cheltenham High School.

There will not be competitive meets - only weekly trainings. The goal of the program will be to introduce boys and girls to the sport of wrestling to help build towards the school wrestling programs.

Travel Basketball - Winter 2025

Cheltenham Sports offers a robust travel basketball program.

Tryout Dates:

4th & 5th Grade Boys - October 21st & 28th @6p - 7:15p
6th & 7th Grade Boys - October 21st & 28th @7.30p - 8:45p
All Girls - October 23rd & 30th @6p-7:15p

All Tryouts are held at Cedarbook Middle School Gym

Fall Intramural Soccer - Fall 2025

The program will be run by our professional training partners from YTP Sports to provide the players the strong fundamentals to learn and love to game of soccer.  All programs feature 8, Saturday sessions at Veteran's Park.  We will be sub-divide by gender, age  and skill on the field as enrollment allows.

Boys & Girls Under 6
For our youngest players, 1-hour sessions with our coaches to build the fundamental skills. Each week will feature a 15-minute drill and then 45minutes of scrimmage play to implement the skills in the game.

Boys & Girls 1st - 6th Grade
The YTP trainers will expand the skill-base of the players with a 45-minute skill session, followed immediately by a 45 minute game period. 90-Minute Sessions!

Boys & Girls 1st - 6th Grade IM Select
This program is for the players who are thinking about taking their game to the next level and get prepared for Travel Soccer or school soccer. In addition to the Saturday sessions described above, enrollees in IM Select will have an additional 1-hour training session on Friday evenings to elevate their skill set. IM Select Enrolls you into both the traditional and Select programs.

Pick-up Basketball - Fall 2025

Open Gym Time for 4th-8th Graders to play basketball. Starting this September and October -

Thursday Evenings from 7p - 8:15p evenings at Cedarbrook Middle School. Starts Thursday September 25th through October 30th.

This program is recommended for Travel Basketball - level players

ProBound - Travel Basketball Clinics - Fall 2025

Join our Travel Basketball training program led by ProBound Training's Lead Instructors: Misha Horsey & Amarri Trueheart.

Ball Hockey Skills Clinic - Fall 2025

Ages/Experience - 5-13 years old. Some playing experience recommended, but not necessary. 

Length of Session–6-Tuesday Evening Sessions starting September 23rd

Location of Practices & Games – Hockey Rinks located at Elkins Park School

Coaches, Managers, & Volunteers Needed - No formal coaching skills necessary. We'll help show you the way. 

Equipment is required for the In-House Program, but a limited amount is available to borrow including: Hockey Helmet with a cage, Street Hockey Gloves, Street Hockey Stick, Hockey Shin Guards, Running Shoes

Fall Skillz Classes - Fall 2025

Friday Skillz

Friday evenings starting September 5th, trainers from YTP will be running one-hour, skill-building training sessions for boys & girls ages 6-12. The training sessions will run for 8-weeks evenings at Veteran's Field from 6p to 7p

Monday Keeper Training

Beginning Monday, September 8th, YTP's keeper trainer will teach your goalie the fundamentals required to succeed in one of the toughest positions in 8 weekly sessions.

Monday 5:30p - Younger/Less Experienced
Monday 6:30p - Older/More Experienced
